Mechanical Engineer | East Rand

We are seeking a skilled and solutions-driven Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing and engineering firm based in East Rand .

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-precision components and machinery, supporting design, development, and production processes across a variety of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
• Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and technical calculations.
• Oversee and support the manufacturing process from prototyping through to final production.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams on custom design and engineering solutions.
• Conduct testing, quality control, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

Requirements :

BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.

3–5 years’ experience in precision manufacturing or mechanical design.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design software.

Strong understanding of machining processes and engineering materials.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
