Minimum Requirements:

• BTech or BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• 2-3 years' experience in mechanical building services design (consulting engineering environment)
• Knowledge of SANS codes and industry standards
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM modelling experience is highly advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Engineer and design teams on building services projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors
• Develop detailed HVAC, fire protection, and wet services designs
• Compile and prepare technical documentation, specifications, and bills of quantities
• Conduct site assessments, surveys, and inspections
• Manage contract documentation and assist with project supervision
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams from inception through handover
