Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for renewable energy applications (e.g., solar trackers, wind turbine parts, energy storage systems).
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
• Perform structural analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic simulations to ensure design integrity and performance under various environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and project engineers to integrate mechanical designs into complete energy systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, BOMs, and testing procedures.
• Oversee prototype development and testing, analyzing results and implementing design improvements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical design issues and provide solutions for manufacturing and field operations.
• Research and evaluate new materials and technologies to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of renewable energy systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on renewable energy systems preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (FEA, CFD).
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and structural analysis.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).
