Job summary

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm in Cape Town is hiring a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. The role involves delivering mechanical building services designs for commercial, residential and industrial projects, with emphasis on Revit proficiency and site coordination.

Requirements include a BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering, 3-5 years’ mechanical building services experience, experience on large building projects, and exposure to rational fire

Qualifications

• BEng/BTech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3-5 years’ mechanical building services experience.
• Experience on building projects such as commercial offices, large shopping centres, high-rise apartment buildings, residential buildings, factories, township developments, etc.
• Proficiency in Revit Software.
• Exposure to rational fire design advantageous.
• Ability to conduct site inspections, attend meetings and liaise with the professional team.
