Job description

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our clients dynamic team in Welkom Free State. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to maintain service and repair yellow or earthmoving equipment in a fastpaced environment. Responsibilities :

• Perform routine inspections preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of yellow or earthmoving machinery
• Diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic faults efficiently
• Conduct component replacements and system overhauls as required
• Minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting
• Accurately document service reports and job cards
• Source and order parts and materials for repairs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NQF Level 6 TradeTested Mechanical Qualification or certified equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience working on yellow or earthmoving equipment
• Must have mechanical skills and knowledge to fix on TLBs Graders Dozers Front End Loaders Trucks and other heavy machineries
• Must have administrative and planning experience
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Familiarity with technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
