About the role

The role is designed to leverage the power of Analytics to accelerate business performance through identified consumer and customer-led opportunities resulting in improved profitable growth performance.

Key responsibilities

  1. Supporting the MEA Analytics lead in the creation and delivery of the Analytics learning plan required to drive MEA strategy including Full Market Mix Modelling (MMM) Pricing Strategy, Predictive Demand Analytics & execution work.
  2. Act as an integral part of the MEA organisation, becoming a key advisor and business partner by putting the consumer, shopper and expert at the heart of all brand decision supported through the leveraging of analytics.
  3. Be the regional expert in all pricing related analytics including pricing scenario testing, price elasticity, strategic & tactical pricing analysis, lead on annual strategic pricing review.
  4. Key point of contact on all market mix modelling (MMM), consumption and demand analytics partnering local and regional marketing and commercial teams where relevant to drive learnings and best practice into the MEA region.
  5. Partner with lead insight agencies to leverage Best in Class Analytical research tools and techniques.
  6. Leveraging existing business tools such as Brand Performance Scorecards (BPS) etc to understand current and future growth opportunities for MEA.
  7. Be the Analytical expert for MEA region, supporting broader local CBIA and MEA organisation in upskilling their understanding of Analytics, acting as functional expert on all methodology questions and embedding the power of Analytics at the heart of the organisation to drive profitable growth for MEA.
  8. Be capable of taking complex volumes of data and distilling down into actionable insights for local and regional partners.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree e.g. Marketing, MBA.
  2. Prior experience in Analytical methodologies and analyst techniques.
  3. Experience in working in a matrix structure.
  4. Ideally client side exposure that brings the individual closer to actual business delivery and impact.
  5. Data tools: Nielsen, Kanthar or similar platform experience.
  6. Power Bi and design of dashboards.
  7. Stakeholder Management.

Preferred

  1. Strong oral and written communication Skills and ability to influence peers/upwards.
  2. Python.
