The
key purpose of this role is to Produce a medium- and long-term forecast for all raw materials excluding Returnable packaging. Supporting Operational teams in the breweries and in BSC structure - embedding short term call offs and planning processes into the overall monthly plan and clear update to Exec S&OP. Actively working with the portfolio and marketing teams on any promotions, write off risks and changes in packaging.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor S&OP plans produced by the NoCC team and escalate risks to BU Planning manager
- Produce long term MRP plans 3-18 months
- Prepare and present materials related KPIs, gaps and opportunities in supply review
- Manage materials within cash flow budgets and against inventory policy
- Ensuring material supply against requirement
- Control/Loss Prevention and Obsolete Management
- Materials management for NPD, Promotions and discontinuations, including phase in and phase out planning
- Risk identification and mitigation
- System and Master Data maintenance
- Identify and implement cost avoidance and cost reduction initiatives
- KPI tracking – DCBL material, Inventory Out of Range
- Reporting
- LCP Material and Management Pillar
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Effective numeracy and analytical skills & problem solving at both operational and tactical levels
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Good communicator across all levels within and external to the organisation
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organisation
- Excellent self-management practices with a pro-active, energetic and committed approach
- Excellent presentation and report drafting skills
- Excellent analytical understanding and strong excel capabilities advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple streams of information optimally with attention to detail
- An orientation towards the quantitative disciplines of mathematics, statistics and economics would be advantageous
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate should have a 3-year Bachelor level degree in Sciences or Commercial or similar degree or equivalent tertiary education
- Ideal candidate should have between 3 – 5 years
