Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage material planning schedules to support production and assembly lines.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Analyze inventory levels and adjust orders based on demand forecasts and production requirements.
• Monitor and resolve any material shortages or delays that may impact production.
• Maintain close communication with internal teams and suppliers to address any material-related issues.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to evaluate suppliers and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of inventory and material management processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Material Planner or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and supply chain management principles.
• Proficiency in material planning software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
