Introduction: We are seeking to recruit 2 permanent Master Data Assistants for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).

The role is based in Lea Glen, Roodepoort, reporting to the Master Data Compliance Officer.

Job Purpose : The main purpose of master data is to provide a consistent and accurate set of core data essential for the organization's operations, including information about customers, products, pricing, and suppliers.

Key Performance Areas : Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of master data through regular data cleaning, maintenance, validation, and enrichment.

Quality Outputs of the Job : Ensure accurate and timely capture of new materials/products, update nappi codes, barcodes, supplier material codes, extend materials to storage locations, create and maintain Purchasing Info Records, load and maintain vendor information, update contracts and customer accounts, verify and update supplier and customer data for compliance, update SEP and non-scheduled product pricing, and maintain product dimensions in SAP.

Skills : Computer proficiency, analytical skills, problem-solving skills.

Knowledge : Adaptability.

Minimum Education and Qualification : Matric equivalent; a Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Finance, Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Information Technology.

SAP Exposure : On-the-job training, short courses, or entry-level SAP certifications.

Experience : 1-3 years in the pharmaceutical industry, data integrity, capturing, and management of technical or business data systems.
