Placements24 in Midrand is seeking a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician to join our client’s workshop. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead complex diagnostics, mentor junior technicians, and maintain accurate service records while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified Automotive Technician.
• Possession of ASE certifications (A1-A8, G1) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and advanced automotive tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, engine management, and emission controls.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Execute repairs and replacements with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
