We offer a 12-month programme providing work experience in specific areas with critical skills within the organization.

You will gain valuable work experience, explore career paths, and network with professionals in the field of study.

During this time, you will be based in one of our Massmart Retail Stores (Gauteng, Northwest, Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal) and be exposed to the retail industry.

In addition to receiving a National Certificate in Wholesale and Retail Operations and relevant work experience, you'll also develop business, personal, and technical retail skills applicable across the business and throughout your career.

Requirements
  • South African Citizen
  • Completed Matric / Grade 12
  • Should not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than 1 year
  • Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment (August '25 – July '26)
  • Should not currently be on or registered on a SETA funded Program
  • Available and willing to work retail hours and on a fixed-term 12-month learnership contract
