Mascor is a Company consisting of franchised Fuel divisions throughout KZN and in Mpumalanga. In some areas, the fuel station also has a convenience store, take-away or mini market store offering customers a one-stop solution . We offer professional and high-quality service and customer service standards .

Mascor currently has a vacancy for an Administrative assistant at their Sasol Salt Rock branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate reconciliation and processing of administration functions at branch level, contributing to operational efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

Administration

  • Supervise and ensure all daily sales transactions are captured on accounting systems within 24 hours.
  • Manage document processing, ensuring timely authorization and submission for payment.
  • Address queries promptly and effectively to support smooth operations.
  • Monitor and ensure all supplier credit notes are received.
  • Maintain loss control within 3% of non-food turnover and stock control within 3% of food turnover.
  • Oversee the management of all branch stationery.
  • Lead payroll and attendance management, ensuring accurate data entry into the timekeeping system.
  • Direct month-end reconciliation and submission of documentation.

Financial & Operational Reconciliation

  • Supervise shift balancing and reconciliation of cash, card transactions, and sales.
  • Ensure accurate processing of supplier invoices within required timeframes.
  • Oversee petty cash management, ensuring reconciliation and compliance.
  • Monitor customer account sales, reconciling accounts with precision.
  • Conduct wet stock and franchise reconciliations to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

  • Min: Grade 12
  • Ideal: Diploma in Administration

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory and administration in the Fuel industry.

Legal Requirements

  • Valid drivers license
