Marketing Technical Personal Assistant

SmartTech City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

The above position is available working for a computer software company located in the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town. The candidate must be precise, responsible, honest, self-motivated, reliable, and hard-working. Importantly, the candidate must be task driven and must have an ‘out-the-box’ approach to accomplishing goals. A willingness to learn and acquire new skills will allow for growth within the company. This technical position has a strong marketing and design component.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and Market a technical product (specifically, CAD software).
  • Produce marketing videos for the CAD software.
  • Assist in the management of the company’s social media platforms.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the newly renovated website.
  • Communication with clients.
  • Involvement in non-marketing specific tasks, such as general event management.
  • Assist with the preparation of software tutorials and training materials.
  • Sourcing of hardware and software information as required.
  • Assist with general company administration e.g. quotes, invoices.

Requirements

  • Marketing and personal assistant diploma / similar qualification.
  • Capable in using industry related software e.g. for video production.
  • General computer proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A good listener and task driven.
  • Location in Cape Town / Southern Suburbs.
  • Valid South African driver's license.

Beneficial Skills

  • Good knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Experience working with a technical product.
  • Good internet and computer skills.
  • Artistic skills and Art as a school subject.

Personal Attributes

Salary negotiable on experience. Initial contract position.
