Our Smarter Mobility Africa (SMA) portfolio connects professionals, businesses, and thought leaders in the mobility sector through world-class events, digital platforms, and marketing strategies.

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive strategic marketing initiatives for our SMA Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing & Strategy Skills: Developing and executing marketing strategies, creating and managing multi-channel campaigns (email, social media, paid ads, PR), market research & competitor analysis, data acquisition & segmentation strategies, analyzing campaign performance and reporting insights.
  2. Digital & Content Marketing Skills: SEO & SEM optimization, social media marketing (organic & paid), email marketing & automation, content creation (blogs, articles, press releases), copywriting & storytelling for digital platforms.
  3. Creative & Multimedia Skills: Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other software), graphic design using Canva (social media posts, presentations, reports), basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, creating engaging visuals and animations, understanding brand identity and design principles.
  4. Technical & Analytical Skills: Using Google Analytics & data analysis tools, CRM & marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp), A/B testing & performance optimization, budget management & ROI tracking.
  5. Project & Communication Skills: Strong organizational & project management abilities, excellent written & verbal communication, collaboration with cross-functional teams (designers, sales, event teams), time management & multitasking under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing Management.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a strategic B2B marketing role.
  3. Proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns.
  4. Strong knowledge of complex databases and segmentation techniques.
  5. Ability to track, analyze, and optimize marketing performance data.
  6. Strong expertise in digital marketing techniques.
  7. Excellent project management skills, from planning through to execution.
  8. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
