Marketing Operations Specialist

Established Asset Management company with operations locally and internationally is seeking a dynamic Marketing Operations Specialist.
They seek a dynamic BCom Honours with approx. 3-4 years working experience to administer and implement the local marketing activities for the firm.

Marketing experience preferably from an Asset management / Investment management or Professional services environment.

The ideal candidate is structured, driven, and able to co-ordinate a dynamic range of tasks with a very high attention to detail. The individual will work closely with the business development and investment teams to plan, co-ordinate and implement campaigns. They will work with other external marketing professionals to develop and distribute marketing materials.

This is a specialist, hands-on role with no team to manage and requires the candidate to interact with almost all areas and levels of the business. Duties will include:

• Management of external agency briefing and traffic
• Engagement with global Marketing resources and participation within the Global Marketing Forum
• Upskill and be well versed in company messaging and brand script
• Maintenance of communication tools
• Produce and update (with the help of external agencies and the business) marketing content such as brochures, presentations, etc
• Generating, repackaging and editing articles, guides, whitepapers that are written by various Teams
• Website maintenance and analysis and blog updates
• Social media posting and analysis
• Engage with PR agency where necessary
• Manage and support the running of various events – online and in person
• Strong computer literacy including Adobe, Nitro and Hubspot

A positive can-do attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines are all essential.
