Job Responsibilities
- Manage and direct formal annual category, brand, and product plans to achieve financial growth and profitability (GP).
- Create, plan, manage, and execute campaigns to meet category and brand objectives.
- Lead new product development initiatives.
- Conduct research and monitor market trends and competitor strategies.
- Identify and introduce innovative ingredients, packaging, technologies, products, concepts, and ideas that are commercially viable.
- Oversee stock planning and movement in collaboration with Procurement and Operations.
- Manage and guide annual growth targets and forecasts by brand and SKU.
- Ensure sufficient promotional activities and innovation to drive stock turnover.
- Manage stock clearance prior to aging or expiry.
- Handle product costing within purchasing and packaging parameters, and negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Maintain supplier relationships concerning agreements, processes, and business requirements.
- Ensure all products are legal, compliant, and suitable for exports and CAMS, focusing on labels and ingredients.
- Lead project management efforts.
- Lead, manage, and develop departmental staff.
- Improve and implement efficient systems and processes.

- Post Grade 12 (Degree or equivalent) qualification; RPL considered.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role.
