We are seeking a proactive, execution-focused Local Marketing Manager to lead and implement Hytera’s marketing initiatives across South Africa. This role demands more than strategy—it requires a doer: someone who can transform ideas into clear action plans and deliver tangible marketing outcomes. This role is responsible for localizing global strategies, developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, and supporting channel partners to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Digital Marketing (30%)

-Plan and execute local digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, paid ads to increase brand visibility and lead generation.

-Manage and grow regional social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook).

-Create, localize, and distribute digital content including posts, newsletters, banners, landing pages, etc.

-Monitor performance analytics and optimize for engagement, reach, and conversions.

-Leverage digital tools (e.g., Canva, HubSpot) to execute campaigns efficiently.

2. Channel Partner Support (30%)

-Collaborate with local distributors, resellers, and integrators on co-marketing initiatives.

-Support co-branded campaigns, marketing fund management, and local lead generation initiatives.

-Provide partners with marketing materials, sales kits, and case studies.

-Track and report marketing fund usage, ROI, and campaign performance.

-Support partners during joint events, exhibitions, and product launches.

3. Branding & Field Marketing (40%)

-Plan, organize, and manage local and regional events (trade shows, partner summits, trainings, sponsorships, etc).

-Drive development of local customer success stories and case studies.

E-nsure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints, including signage, print, and digital assets.

-Engage with local media, PR agencies, or influencers (where applicable) to drive positive brand perception.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  2. 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech or industrial sectors.
  3. Experience managing digital campaigns (organic and paid), content creation, and event management.
  4. Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Canva, etc.
  5. Able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and meet deadlines under pressure.
  6. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, accountable, and performance-driven.
  7. Culturally adaptable with a deep understanding of local market dynamics.
