Job description

The Kloof based client is looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies, conduct market research, manage budgets, oversee marketing campaigns, and analyse results to improve performance and drive sales within the Group.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. A Degree or Diploma in Marketing is a must
  2. Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting
  3. Proficient with marketing-related software programs
  4. A history of planning successful product launches and events
  5. Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management and clients
  6. Time management and organization skills for planning and executing both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
  7. Leadership skills to motivate team members
  8. Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to increase demand for products and services
  9. At least five years of experience in a similar role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies aligned with business objectives.
  2. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand target audiences, identify trends, and analyze competitor activities.
  3. Campaign Management: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
  4. Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
  5. Content Creation & Management: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling marketing content (copy, visuals, videos).
  6. Performance Tracking & Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead and manage marketing team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate marketing plans, progress, and results to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
  10. Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to support their efforts and drive sales growth.
