As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for all marketing activities to lead and implement marketing strategies for our laundry and garment rental business. The ideal candidate will develop brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
Key deliverables
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies
- Develop and monitor the group’s Marketing strategy Develop plans and manage campaigns across digital (social media, SEO / SEM, email) and traditional platforms (print, radio, outdoor).
- Conduct quarterly market research to identify new opportunities, customer segments, and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain the company’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Manage the design and production of promotional materials, including brochures, signage, uniforms, and branded content.
- Oversee and manage digital presence, including website updates, Google Ads, and social media content calendars.
- Develop customer retention strategies, such as loyalty programs, satisfaction surveys, and referral incentives.
- Track and report on marketing KPIs, campaign ROI, and lead conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Attend trade shows, expos, and relevant networking events to promote the business
Brand positioning
Develop and articulate a clear brand positioning that distinguishes us in the laundry and garment rental market.Develop and monitor a brand narrative and value proposition for B2B and B2C segments.Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify market gaps and differentiation opportunities.Oversee all brand messaging, including advertising, social media, PR, and internal communications.Manage consistency in brand tone, visuals, and language across all platforms and customer touchpoints.Develop taglines, slogans, and marketing themes aligned with brand positioning.Market Researc & Customer Insights
Analyze market and customer data to inform business strategy, product development, marketing efforts, and customer experience improvements.Develop and lead customer segmentation and gather insights on customer perceptions, expectations, and service.Use market research to evaluate brand performance and adjust positioning strategies accordingly.Collaborate with designers and agencies on visual identity, packaging, uniforms, and promotional materials.Work closely with sales, operations, and client service teams to embed brand values into the customer journey.Provide training and guidance to staff on brand standards and communication.Sales Enablement and Lead Generation
Support B2B and B2C lead generation through paid ads, SEO, email, and partnerships.Build and manage CRM segments for targeted communications and remarketing.Develop marketing collateral for sales teams (brochures, presentations, case studies).Key requirements
Tertiary qualification on NQF level #5 or higher in a production / service-related field2 years’ management experience in a manufacturing / service-related fieldExcellent communication and organizational skills with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesThe ability to work under stress and resolve conflict.Problem-solving skillsDetail orientatedAbility to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and accurately in English.Proficient computer literacy on MS Office related packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) and Company related software systems.
