ENVIRONMENT:

An innovative Solar and Battery Backup Solutions provider in Johannesburg is seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager with creative energy. Candidates should have 3-5 years of digital marketing experience and a relevant qualification in marketing, sales, business, or a related field. This role offers the opportunity to lead multi-channel campaigns in a fast-growing company.

DUTIES:

1. Content & Social Media:
   • Plan and create (or manage creation of) 2+ posts weekly across platforms
   • Manage social media channels: comments, DMs, reviews
   • Produce a mix of stills, videos, and carousels
2. Digital Presence:
   • Manage Google My Business profile (reviews, photos, info)
   • Update WordPress + Elementor website (content, pages, uploads)
   • Write and design bi-weekly email newsletters
   • Maintain and segment mailing lists
3. Design & Production:
   • Create flyers, print materials, and ad artwork (3–5 images in multiple sizes)
   • Coordinate with print suppliers (street poles, signage, promo gear)
4. Campaigns & Strategy:
   • Write ad copy for Meta/Google ads
   • Collaborate with leadership on marketing strategy and execution
   • Update pricing/packages across platforms and collateral
5. Event Coordination:
   • Plan and manage 1–2 events monthly (trade shows, activations, internal town halls)

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
• Degree/diploma in marketing, sales, business, or related fields
• Strong vlogging production skills: filming, editing, lighting, audio
• Experience in renewable energy or a scale-up environment
• Proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp, and WordPress
