- Marketing Degree / Diploma / Consumer Science and or experience equally relative to a tertiary qualification
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a Marketing Management role
- Ensure increased brand awareness by the public in a multi-brand store / online and / or elevate the brand within multi-brand stores / online
- Liaise with Malls for Marketing Related Activities Ad Hoc Requests
- Coordinate marketing events & collaborate with service providers to produce collateral material
- Work with the Marketing Executive to develop marketing objectives, plans, and budgets to present to the team
- Formulate marketing objectives
- Plan and develop strategies
- Liaise with in-house design team to ensure excellence in all marketing and advertising materials
- Brand management inclusive of continuous brand awareness
- Use marketing material as a bargaining tool to extract more sales from customers, i.e., entice customers to place more orders in exchange for marketing assistance / material
- Marketing contacts a mall, opening communications to ensure that the company gets what is due based on the marketing charges in the Lease Agreements
- Pre-plan to ascertain where there is opportunity for participation
- Social Media Support / TV Store Content. Ensure physical marketing material is received by retail stores in time for promotional launch dates
- Utilize text messages as an additional marketing tool to convey information, especially regarding promotions, activities, and Lay-By agreements
- Report on marketing endeavors to ensure that the marketing function keeps the brand top-of-mind of the consumer (whether internal or external to the company)
- Ensure payment documents and required information are vetted by the requestor before payment occurs, ensuring timely and correct payment
- A monthly reconciliation drawn from Sync and supplemented by Excel sheets that detail specific line items for the Finance department
- Updated Marketing Board at HQ for internal marketing updates
- Reinforce promotional or event-related information to customers
- Retail Calendar (Yearly): Create a working document that serves as a guide to Retail operations’ critical path, assisting stakeholders with their planning

- Manage Promotional Marketing Material:
- Retail or Wholesale Artwork Packaging
- Coordinate Brand Event & Action Planning:
- Output: Photographs used for brand, retail, and social media
- Assist with setting up and planning of the event as well as photography at the event
- Images used for PR purposes and social media
- Facilitate Mall-Related Marketing Activities:
- Output: Photographs used for brand, retail, and social media
- Conduct Seasonal Photo-Shoots
- Assist the marketing manager with the planning and conducting of seasonal photo shoots for in-store and online implementation
- Outputs: Product images as requested by MD, Wholesale, and the social media team
- Define & Manage Channel Strategy:
- Develop social media strategy: Define social media performance metrics; Monitor and respond to social media activity; Execute social media campaigns; Evaluate social media performance metrics
- Determine channels to be supported and establish channel objectives
- Guide and assist with creative elements used in the design of social media posts
- Marketing Recon: A monthly recon of the marketing accounts & salesman samples accounts on Sync
- Manage Product Images:
- Management of marketing and advertising content and assets
- Curate and vet images of acceptable quality for use in advertising on various platforms
