We seek a dynamic, hands-on professional to join our Broader Africa Centre team. This role requires collaboration with marketing teams across African regions, marketing centers of excellence, third-party agencies, and business units within FNB’s Commercial and Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) portfolios. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Assist in creating and refining strategic planning templates. Collaborate with local teams to design tailored marketing strategies, plans, and budgets for their markets.
  • Strategic Alignment: Communicate and implement Group and Broader Africa marketing and communication strategies. Adapt these strategies to local business goals.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to build brand equity, promote loyalty, and add value across regions.
  • Campaign Guidance: Provide expert guidance on campaign development. Co-create adaptable campaigns across regions to minimize lead times and costs.
  • Toolkit Development: Develop and deploy comprehensive toolkits for local market adaptation and rollout.
  • Advertising Frameworks: Create adaptable advertising and messaging frameworks for local markets to shorten launch times and enhance competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience: 8+ years in Marketing, Advertising, and Media (including digital), preferably within financial services. Experience in managing integrated marketing initiatives, working with advertising agencies, and cross-functional projects. Knowledge of Public Relations, Brand Management, and Business Communications. Proven ability to manage brands and campaigns across geographies. Strong analytical and strategic skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment.
