Job description

Our client is The Home for Fabulously Conditioned Hair. As a premium salon brand, we are committed to setting new standards in hair health, innovation, and client experience. Our goal is to expand into multiple locations, and we are looking for a Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in building strong brand awareness and establishing the company as the go-to luxury salon brand.

Role Overview:

This role's primary focus is on brand awareness and positioning to drive visibility, authority, and recognition in the beauty industry. The Marketing Manager will execute high-impact marketing campaigns to ensure the company becomes widely known, trusted, and positioned for future expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Awareness & Market Positioning
    • Develop and execute monthly marketing themes that build brand identity (e.g., 'Spoil Your Hair, Spoil Yourself').
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, reinforcing premium salon positioning.
    • Implement high-visibility campaigns to grow audience reach and drive recognition in new locations.
    • Establish the company as a thought leader in the hair industry through expert content and partnerships.
    • Create and manage a content strategy focused on visibility, engagement, and brand trust.
    • Develop a strong presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, using industry trends to maximize exposure.
    • Leverage client testimonials, before & after transformations, and behind-the-scenes storytelling to enhance brand credibility.
    • Work with PR teams, bloggers, and influencers to expand the brand's reach to a wider audience.
  2. Paid Advertising & Local SEO
    • Develop targeted advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, Instagram) focused on increasing brand awareness.
    • Optimize Google My Business and local SEO to improve salon visibility and online reputation.
    • Track brand mentions, audience growth, and engagement metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
  3. Partnerships & Industry Recognition
    • Secure collaborations with beauty influencers, lifestyle brands, and premium product lines (e.g., Kérastase, Redken).
    • Position the company in media, blogs, and beauty publications to establish authority.
    • Identify potential brand expansion opportunities based on market demand and brand recognition.
  4. Events & Community Engagement
    • Organize exclusive in-salon events, influencer gatherings, and brand activations.
    • Develop a local brand presence strategy to establish the company as a household name in the luxury salon space.
    • Build strong community engagement initiatives to ensure brand loyalty and word-of-mouth marketing.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, digital strategy, or public relations.
  • Proven ability to increase brand awareness and drive high-engagement marketing campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills to position the company as a premium brand.
  • Experience in paid advertising, SEO, and influencer collaborations.
  • A creative mindset with strategic vision for salon expansion.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing direction.
