takealot.com, South Africa's leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Marketing Manager to join our Takealot Fulfilment Services team in Cape Town.

This position reports to the Head of Marketing (TFS).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement a marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue. Collaborate with leadership to align initiatives with business goals. Identify market trends and opportunities.
- Brand Management & Promotion: Lead efforts to enhance TFS's visibility and reputation. Oversee messaging, campaigns, and media outreach.
- Content Strategy and Creation: Manage content across channels including website, blog, email, and digital media. Ensure content aligns with company values and marketing goals.
- Digital Marketing & Lead Generation: Drive digital campaigns, manage social media presence, and optimize for SEO with the digital team.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Coordinate with sales and operations to ensure marketing efforts translate into qualified leads. Support sales with materials and monitor conversion processes.
- Market Research & Data Analysis: Conduct industry research, analyze campaign performance, and provide insights for strategy refinement.
- Event Management & Partnerships: Organize events and build relationships with partners and influencers.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee marketing budget, track spending, and optimize ROI.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years in marketing, preferably in logistics or fulfillment sectors.
- 2+ years in B2B services (advantage).
- Experience managing agencies and leading creative teams.
- Proven success in developing marketing strategies that generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Experience with digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and content creation.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and analytics tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
