As a Marketing Intelligence Specialist, you'll be central to this vision, supporting strategic goals with actionable insights.
The Marketing Intelligence Specialist plays a critical role in providing the Sales Team with timely, accurate market intelligence on audience behaviour, viewer trends, and competitor activity. You'll contribute to go-to-market strategies, drive client retention, and help identify revenue opportunities through detailed reporting and analysis.
Conduct in-depth market and media research using industry tools (Telmar, Nielsen, BRC)
Analyse viewer behaviour, audience demographics, and content performance
Track and communicate cost-per-point (CPP) fluctuations and post-campaign performance
Support the Sales Team with data-driven go-to-market presentations and insight
Prepare regular reports and internal presentations for senior leadership
Attend client and agency meetings to offer research-backed consultation
Upskill sales teams on media trends, tools, and competitor strategies
Represent the company at industry events and forums (e.g., BRC, Telmar briefings)
Identify emerging trends to inform sales strategies and maximise revenue potential
Matric certificate (National Senior Certificate) – essential
Diploma in Marketing, Research, Media, or Communications – recommended
Minimum 3 years' experience in media research and/or planning
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exposure to Telmar and Arianna tools
Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
Effective planning and organisational skills
Confident presentation and communication abilities
Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Knowledge of audience trends, competitive positioning, and advertising metrics
