Job summary

Exceed HR & Recruitment is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a permanent role in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. You will assist in planning campaigns, managing calendars and coordinating content across social media, email marketing, websites and print materials.

The role requires 1–3 years in marketing or coordination, strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Canva/Adobe knowledge is advantageous and collaboration with designers and agencies is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 1–3 Years’ experience in a marketing or coordination role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Canva or Adobe is advantageous.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms and basic analytics/reporting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and coordination of marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Manage marketing calendars, deadlines and campaign timelines.
• Coordinate content across social media, email marketing, websites and print materials.
• Liaise with designers, printers, suppliers and external agencies.
• Maintain brand consistency across marketing materials and communication.
• Track campaign performance and compile basic marketing reports.
• Assist with events, exhibitions and promotional activities.
• Maintain customer databases and marketing records.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Marketing Manager.
