Applications are invited for the Marketing Coordinator position to be based in Worcester.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Marketing Co-Ordinator is responsible for managing local marketing in a specific Herotel Regional office.
Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to:
- The local marketing coordinator ensures all marketing activities align with the national marketing strategy. The role primarily involves brand activation (70-80%), with supporting activities.
- Brand Activations:
- Create pop-up sales offices and information kiosks during fibre project build phases.
- Mobilize regional resources to staff kiosks and events, ensuring proper training and appearance.
- Identify or create opportunities for brand activation to increase awareness, such as sponsored events (golf days, festivals), flyer drops, or door-to-door campaigns.
- Manage sponsorship opportunities and in-field fibre permission support.
- Attend and oversee activations, working on Saturdays with the following Monday off.
- Social Media Publishing:
- Manage and update local Facebook pages with relevant content aligned with the digital strategy.
- Website Map Maintenance:
- Ensure the national website displays the latest coverage maps.
- Collaborate with head office to identify long-term brand awareness opportunities, including outdoor billboards, radio, and print media.
- Reporting:
- Manage marketing budget, ensuring spend aligns with fibre uptake targets.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years’ experience managing marketing for multiple branches.
- Willing and able to travel 2-3 times per month.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong time management and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- Relevant marketing qualification is advantageous.
