African Roots Wine Brands x Seven Sisters Vineyards are looking for a dynamic, creative, and impact-driven Marketing Coordinator. The role spans lifestyle, wine, community, and cultural storytelling—across both digital and physical platforms.
African Roots Wine Brands is embarking on a brand restructure, focusing largely on collaborative efforts, networking and program coordination. Integrating Seven Sisters, wine brand and vineyard in Stellenbosch, means that the coordinator is required to represent both businesses to better align their identities. Seven Sisters Vineyards stands as a symbol of faith, unity, and purpose. It is a platform for social impact, empowerment, lifestyle tourism, and storytelling.
You’ll work directly with our founder and team to coordinate events, content, and campaigns that reflect the heart of our story.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Content Management
Develop consistent content for digital platforms including websites, social media, newsletters, and external platforms (Print/digital media partners)
Manage day-to-day scheduling and posting across social media platforms.
Write compelling narratives that align with the values of the brand, maintain brand voice, and aesthetic
Create marketing material for promotions and hospitality offerings.
Campaigns & Promotions
Coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for wine sales, brand events, promotions, and announcements.
Assist in packaging design, brand collateral development, and promotional material creation.
Track and report campaign performance
Support the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and local activations.
Events & Tourism Marketing
Support event planning and marketing
Promote tourism, events and Wedding offerings.
Liaise with hospitality platforms and tourism networks to ensure Seven Sisters is visible and bookable.
Digital & eCommerce Support
Maintain and update the company websites, including online wine store content and SEO performance.
Manage CRM platforms and subscriber lists, ensuring personalised and timely communications.
Administration & Coordination
Monitor and manage stock of marketing materials, wine collateral, and merchandise.
Handle media outreach, influencer collaboration, and product placement requests.
Assist with media relations and community engagement initiatives.
Maintain digital asset library and ensure all branding is current and on-message.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a marketing or communications, preferably in wine, tourism, or lifestyle sectors.
Strong writing skills and storytelling ability.
Strong digital marketing and content management skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office, design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite), CMS platforms (WiX), and social scheduling tools.
Passion for female empowerment, heritage, and lifestyle branding.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, values-driven environment.
Own transport, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for events
Ability to multitask, take initiative, and work collaboratively

Working Hours & Availability
Estimated 15-25 hours per week with fixed office days and flexible remote work.
Fixed weekly check-in.
Availability for on-site meetings in Stellenbosch with prior notice.
Attendance at 2 on-site and 2 off-site events per month
Compensation: Monthly with fixed rates for additional hours or event attendance.
