South Assistants is seeking a Marketing Coordinator based in South Africa to own content calendars, run social and email channels, and drive growth for premium clients across the US, UK and Europe.

Youll draft copy, schedule posts, and manage campaigns in Meta, LinkedIn and Google Ads while collaborating with designers and agencies. Expect 1–3 years in marketing, CMS and ESP experience, and overlap with US hours.

Competenze

• 1–3 years in marketing, content, social or related role.
• Write tight, on-brand copy in English.
• Comfortable with at least one scheduling tool (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later).
• Have touched a CMS (Webflow, WordPress, Ghost, Framer) and an ESP (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot).
• Can read a dashboard and identify leading indicators vs vanity metrics.
• Can commit to at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US business hours.
• Fast, stable fibre internet for video calls.
• Have run paid campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn or Google.
• Know basic SEO: keyword research, on-page, internal linking.
• Experience with lifecycle email flows and automation.
• Fluent in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) for assistive workflows.

As a Marketing Coordinator on our team, you\'ll own content calendars, run social and email channels, and ship real growth work for fast-moving brands, without getting lost in agency-style process.

• Premium clients: Work with product-led brands, B2B SaaS and growing agencies.
• Fully remote: Work from anywhere in South Africa with overlap to your client\'s timezone.
• Growth: Progress from coordinator to specialist (SEO, paid, lifecycle) or generalist growth lead.
• Competitive pay: Above-market South African salaries, benchmarked in USD.
• Own your client\'s content calendar across social, blog and email.
• Draft posts, captions, newsletters and ad copy in the client\'s voice.
• Schedule and publish across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and other platforms.

• Manage campaign setups in Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads or Google Ads (in the client\'s account).
