Marketing Coordinator

Johannesburg, South Africa – Full-time

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can bring Sourcefin's brand to life across channels and communities.

At Sourcefin, we make purchase order funding and invoice discounting easy for South Africa's forgotten SMMEs. As a Marketing Coordinator, you'll help us tell our story, connect with our community, and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness and engagement. This role combines creativity with organisation — perfect for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and turning ideas into measurable impact.

What you'll do
  • Community management: Monitor and engage across online communities. Respond to interactions in a timely, friendly, and brand-consistent manner. Foster followership and engagement, building a sense of community around Sourcefin. Curate and share user-generated content that aligns with brand messaging and values.
  • Copywriting & content creation: Write persuasive, engaging copy for emails, social media, website, and ads. Execute on a content marketing strategy across multiple media. Develop SEO-optimised content to boost visibility and rankings. Coordinate with internal teams and external photography / videography partners to produce high-quality visuals. Curate relevant third-party content (industry news, thought leadership, etc.) for clients and social platforms. Develop email campaigns and follow-up sequences.
  • Brand development & campaign support: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns from ideation to delivery. Support event and promotion strategies through content and coordination. Monitor and report on daily, weekly, and monthly campaign metrics. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and execution.
