Overview
Marketing Coordinator required in Bedfordview, Johannesburg.
Support the execution of marketing projects and day-to-day activities across brand, communication, and trade initiatives. Coordinate campaigns, manage marketing materials, and work closely with product and sales teams to ensure brand visibility and consistency. Balance creativity with organisation to deliver promotional activities, digital content, and event support that strengthen brand presence in the market.
Salary: R280 000 – R300 000 per annum inclusive of a 13th cheque.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, trade marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics and similar platforms advantageous).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational ability with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a team or independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of promotional materials, POS collateral, catalogues, and brochures.
- Support brand and product promotions across trade, consumer, and internal sales channels.
- Liaise with agencies to track, update, and follow up on campaigns.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and maintain reporting systems.
- Update social media accounts and websites in collaboration with agencies.
- Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with accurate marketing and financial data.
- Track competitor activity and provide insights into market changes.
- Prepare content such as presentations, advertorials, and reports.
- Support product launches, store activations, and training sessions.
- Assist the sales team with store displays, POS roll-outs, and merchandising.
- Coordinate agencies and logistics for trade shows and promotional events.
- Provide on-the-ground support during campaigns and exhibitions.
- Manage and maintain showroom and merchandising materials.
- Handle administrative tasks including quotes, invoices, and budget tracking.
- Provide day-to-day support to the marketing team across projects.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications
