Job description

Requirements:

  • Matric or relevant qualification
  • Experience in WordPress, Social Pilot, Mailchimp, Canva, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace (including Google Analytics)
  • Experience in Meta Ads Manager is advantageous
  • Ability to work confidently with Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)
  • Strong knowledge of social media and community management tools/software
  • Resourceful in finding social content opportunities
  • Keen interest in interior design and lifestyle brands
  • Organized and dependable to meet deadlines
  • Creative with a keen eye for design, content, and copy

Duties:

  1. Understand the products and brand to effectively communicate on social media platforms
  2. Develop a monthly social media calendar to distribute brand content
  3. Schedule content to ensure consistent engagement and analyze performance for adjustments
  4. Engage with audiences by listening and participating in relevant discussions
  5. Capitalize on relevant news, trends, or hashtags tactfully
  6. Monitor competitor social media activity and share insights with internal stakeholders
  7. Respond to comments/messages promptly on social media platforms
  8. Propose new ideas for social content to enhance audience connection
  9. Report on social media metrics and seek ways to improve future campaigns
  10. Coordinate administration of advertising bookings, tradeshows, and agency services
  11. Assist with website updates related to products and prices
  12. Support the Marketing Manager with monthly newsletters, reporting, and billing

Salary: R negotiable depending on experience
