Marketing Coordinator – Paarden Eiland, Cape Town.

Are you ready for a career move and have the relevant experience to join our clients creative team where you can make an Impact from day one? We’re looking for a marketing-savvy individual to help bring campaigns to life.

In this role, you’ll support strategic initiatives coordinating key projects, and collaborate closely with their team across digital, content, and events.

Experience in WordPress, Social Pilot, Mailchimp, Canva, Microsoft 365, Google WorkSpace essential.

Requirements:

  • Matric, or relevant qualification
  • Experience in WordPress, Social Pilot, Mailchimp, Canva, Microsoft 365 (incl. Teams), and Google WorkSpace (incl. Google Analytics)
  • Experience in Meta Ads Manager will be advantageous
  • Must be able to work confidently with Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)
  • Strong working knowledge of social media and community management and scheduling
    tools/software
  • Ability to take the lead and be resourceful in finding appropriate social content opportunities
  • Keen interest in interior design and lifestyle brands is essential
  • Organised and dependable to meet deadlines
  • Creative with a keen eye for design, content, and copy work

Duties and Responsibilities::

  • Fully grasp the products and the technical knowledge of the brand to effectively position and communicate the Company and their offerings on social media platforms
  • Develop a monthly social media calendar that will distribute brand content that inspires target audiences
  • Schedule content to create a consistent flow of new content for audiences to interact with while constantly analysing what works and what doesn’t and alter the content calendar where necessary
  • Build relationships by listening and engaging in relevant social discussions about the brand, its competitors and industry
  • Tactfully capitalize on relevant news stories, trends or hashtags
  • Constantly monitor competitor brands’ social media activity and share with key internal stakeholders
  • Daily monitoring of social media platforms to ensure all comments/messages are responded to in a timely manner
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social content to better connect with our audiences
  • Report on all social media metrics that highlights activity, results, and trends on company platforms, and continually look for new ways to improve on the metrics to guide future social content plans and campaigns
  • Coordinate administration of advertising bookings, tradeshows (for example, Decorex and Scape Emporium Tradeshow), and agency services (ensuring contracts are populated correctly, doing
