Their Cape Town campus is a dynamic hub of activity, and they are currently seeking a Marketing Consultant to support their student recruitment efforts.

About the Role

The Marketing Consultant will engage directly with prospective students and their families via outbound calls, database management, and event support. This role is vital to the student recruitment process, with a strong focus on lead generation, appointment setting, and collaborative marketing activities. The successful candidate will represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a student-focused approach, helping to drive student applications and campus registrations.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Engagement

  • Make daily calls to prospective students and parents to promote academic programmes and schedule interviews.

  • Provide clear and compelling information about programmes, campus life, and the application process.

  • Follow up with leads to maintain interest and ensure movement through the recruitment funnel.

Lead Generation & CRM Management

  • Qualify leads and capture all interactions accurately within the CRM system.

  • Support data segmentation for marketing and recruitment purposes.

  • Assist in collecting lead data from school visits and career events.

Appointment Coordination

  • Secure appointments for prospective students with Student Advisors.

  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams for a smooth lead handover.

School Engagements & Events

  • Attend school presentations, career fairs, and open days to support recruitment.

  • Conduct interviews with prospective students and parents during key events.

Target Delivery & Collaboration
  • Meet individual call and appointment targets.

  • Work closely with the student recruitment team to align on enrolment objectives.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and product training.

  • Confident verbal communication and telephone manner

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum: Grade 12 / Matric

  • Advantageous: Tertiary qualification (certificate or diploma)

  • Experience: Telesales, customer service, or call centre background preferred but not essential (on-the-job training will be provided)

  • Languages: Fluency in English; additional South African languages are a plus

Requirements
  • Driver’s licence advantageous but not required

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends during peak recruitment periods
