- To work with the global marketing team, sales area teams & other departments to support and implement marketing and communication initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement & conversions to increase market share and loyalty within the customer base and to ensure a highly competitive marketing approach. Implementation of the marketing and communication (external & internal) plan for the region. In addition, this role will be the Executive Assistant to the Executive Team (Directors).
The job responsibilities:
Marketing
- Develop, implement and track marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., product & sales) to develop and monitor the marketing initiatives for the Africa territories.
- Liaising with the other African country marketing teams for SRP marketing initiatives.
- Working with the appointed external marketing service provider to develop and agree on the annual budget and external marketing publications, liaising with the VP and then the internal content providers.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing initiatives.
- Support with the development of marketing materials and liaising with the global teams (marketing & product) to ensure the sales area has the relevant marketing materials.
- Organizing & coordinating the marketing events/shows/trade shows.
- Working with the global marketing team to promote Africa content & stories via the SRP LinkedIn page and other social media.
- Driving NPS initiatives utilizing the CRM accounts and coordinating efforts to increase NPS response rate and improvements in NPS rates feedback.
- Other CRM initiatives.
Communications
- Responsible for drafting and distributing internal communications to the relevant stakeholders via the SRP Africa communication channels.
- Liaising with managers to agree on content to ensure the organization is well informed on changes and other important organizational information.
- Set up and provide administrative support for internal communication webinars.
- Developing and preparing the material for the internal communications webinars, etc.
- Suggest and develop internal communication plans & communication models to ensure improved and effective internal communications to employees.
Executive Assistant
- Providing proactive & organized support to the Managing Directors and the senior executive team.
- Assisting with managing schedules, coordinating meetings/events & communication with internal and external stakeholders and a variety of other administrative tasks (e.g., expense claims) for the executive team.
- Coordinating & preparing materials for meetings.
- Booking travel & coordinating travel arrangements for the executive team.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication or business administration would be preferable.
- However, other relevant qualifications, e.g., Diploma, Certificate in Marketing, Communications will also be considered combined with experience & other assessed capabilities.
- Minimum 2 years corporate working experience in a similar role in marketing & communications.
- Salesforce experience (or other similar CRM system) will be highly beneficial.
