Job title: Marketing Campaign Manager

Job Location: Western Cape, Cape Town

Key Performance Areas:

Integrated Marketing Strategy
  1. Implementation of marketing communication strategy - traditional & digital campaigns
  2. Collaborate with agencies to integrate marketing strategy on all channels
  3. Manage and coordinate the campaign implementation process, aligning with all internal & external stakeholders on objectives and timelines
  4. Work with agency, Head of Brand and the Sales & Marketing executive to create campaign target goals
  5. Responsible for all marketing communication across all platforms
  6. Engages Head of Brand, the Sales & Marketing executive and relevant business owners in an advisory capacity to optimise campaign deliverables and marketing operational efficiency
  7. Plan, implement and report on all campaign elements
  8. Monitor & ensure the marketing strategy & initiatives are executed as planned
  9. Suggest new ideas for the integrated marketing strategy and tactics
  10. Understand target customer segmentation of various external media (both traditional & digital) to identify suitable channels
  11. Drive the roll-out of all digital and social media campaigns
  12. Ensure the implementation of the digital strategy by driving brand awareness, consideration and acquisition across all platforms, working closely with the relevant external agency and internal stakeholders
  13. Ensure the marketing strategy and all communication align with digital marketing campaigns
  14. Understand digital & social media analytics and interpret the content and data
  15. Manage campaign budgets
Campaign Process Management
  1. Review of end-to-end campaign processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  2. Set and drive strategic objectives and measurement of all campaigns together with the internal stakeholders
  3. Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives
  4. Identify business process and system improvements to streamline ways of work between internal & external stakeholders
  5. Proofing creative & digital copy and detail checks across all campaign channels & platforms to mitigate the risk of errors early in the process, and ensure alignment to overall campaign | brand strategy
  6. Create campaign framework and process for all the marketing campaigns
  7. Create a robust process for internal & external campaign briefings, reviews and approvals
  8. Scrutinise the current campaign process and make improvements
  9. Liaise & manage the creative; digital & media agency and internal teams to coordinate marketing campaigns and priorities
Engagement Management with Strategic Partners
  1. Manage the retail distribution Network to drive campaign initiates on the brands relevant platforms and channels
  2. Build relationships and ensure alignment across marketing, operations, legal and agency teams
  3. Facilitate regular campaign status and review meetings
  4. Drive quarterly marketing alignment process for all stakeholders

Qualifications:

  1. 3-year diploma or Degree in Marketing | Copy writing | Digital Marketing
  2. Post graduate studies in digital marketing would be highly advantageous

Experience:

  1. 3+ years marketing experience, including managing integrated TTL campaigns
  2. Digital marketing experience would be highly advantageous
  3. Experience in financial services would be highly advantageous
