Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our team with the procurement of branded gifting, merchandise, and event coordination. This role requires a motivated individual with strong project management skills, a proactive mindset, and at least 7 years of relevant experience in marketing support, procurement, or event-related roles.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple projects from concept to execution. Experience in sourcing merchandise and assisting in the planning and coordination of marketing events is essential.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the marketing and procurement teams to source, evaluate, and order promotional items, gifts, and branded merchandise.

Manage vendor relationships, including communication, negotiations, and performance tracking.

Coordinate logistics for the delivery, storage, and distribution of merchandise to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ensure all gifting and merchandise align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Provide support for the planning and coordination of marketing events, activations, and brand experiences.

Assist with venue sourcing, supplier liaison, event setup, and on-site support.

Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, inventory, event assets, costs, and timelines.

Track budgets and manage invoice processing related to both merchandise and events.

Support creative concept development for campaign-based and seasonal gifting and event initiatives.

Provide general administrative and project management support across marketing projects.

Work cross-functionally with the events, PR, and digital teams to ensure seamless execution.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing, merchandise procurement, event coordination, or a similar support role.

Demonstrated experience supporting corporate or brand events, including planning, logistics, and vendor management.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with merchandise vendors and event suppliers is highly advantageous.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

Background in promotional product sourcing and event marketing within a consumer brand or agency.

Creative thinker with a good eye for detail, product curation, and event aesthetics.

Familiarity with sourcing, logistics, and event operations.

Ability to manage shifting priorities and stay organized under pressure.
