Job description

Overview : Our client is a leading global provider of smart energy solutions.

They're looking for a Marketing Assistant to assist the marketing department with its initiatives and campaigns.

Day to day, you will help to create and / or co-ordinate content, track results, build relationships with our sales team, and otherwise support the implementation of all marketing strategies.

Responsibilities :
  1. Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs.
  2. Coordinate marketing campaigns, including copy, posts, scheduling, testing, and database management.
  3. Monitor and report on email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, photography, copywriting, and marketing.
  5. Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining marketing materials inventory.
  6. Provide administrative support to coordinate and organize market research.
  7. Schedule and arrange meetings and travel itineraries.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Driver's license and vehicle required.
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant.
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software, and online applications (CRM tools, online analytics, Google AdWords, etc.).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) is a plus.
  • Digital photography and video editing experience is a plus.
