A niche market leader in the civilian armoured vehicle industry is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing & Sales Specialist to join their high-performance team in Johannesburg North.
This role blends strategic marketing activation (60%) with direct sales support (40%), playing a pivotal part in driving brand awareness and translating leads into high-value sales.
The ideal candidate will bring a refined understanding of luxury branding, client engagement, and sales conversion strategies, while also having the capability to deputise for the Sales Manager when needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–7 years’ experience in a marketing-centric role, with sales activation responsibilities
- Experience in FMCG, luxury goods, high-value automotive, or similar industries preferred
- Demonstrated success in converting marketing leads into sales
- Experience executing high-impact marketing campaigns
- Prior supervisory or project leadership experience advantageous
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (SEO, SEM, social media, CMS)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally if required
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage marketing strategies across digital, print, social, and direct channels
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and client needs
- Nurture marketing leads through the funnel via tailored communication and content
- Coordinate content creation in line with luxury brand standards
- Manage CRM data with the Leads Manager for accurate tracking and reporting
- Plan and host activations, private viewings, and engagement events
- Sales Support & Manager Deputisation
- Collaborate with Sales Manager to ensure seamless lead handovers
- Support client presentations, product demos, and negotiations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Step in during Sales Manager’s absence to:
- Oversee daily sales operations and team productivity
- Conduct briefings and set team targets
- Handle escalations and complex sales scenarios
- Monitor sales against targets and implement corrective actions
