What Will I Be Doing

As a Marketing and Communications Executive, you will support the implementation of marketing and communication strategies across the two Hilton properties in Queenstown. Your focus will be on increasing the profile, share of voice, and reputation value among targeted customers and travel media. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Developing annual marketing plans in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
  2. Collaborating with regional and global Hilton marketing teams.
  3. Maintaining all hotel touchpoints and merchandising opportunities according to Hilton Brand Guidelines.
  4. Ensuring visual assets are up-to-date and compliant with Hilton Brand Guidelines.
  5. Updating marketing content on Hilton-branded and third-party travel websites.
  6. Creating localized social media content plans and coordinating message delivery.
  7. Assisting with local purchase orders, invoice payments, and monthly reforecasting.
  8. Coordinating artwork briefs and distributing all Queenstown-based collateral.
  9. Assisting with journalist inquiries, distributing media releases, and maintaining records of coverage.
  10. Organizing and delivering promotional events.
  11. Supporting the Commercial Director and General Manager in achieving key business objectives through administrative assistance.
What Are We Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. To succeed, you should have:

  • Ability to understand key business indicators and trends.
  • Previous marketing experience in a similar environment.
  • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Canva, and InDesign.
  • A relevant degree in marketing, business development, or related fields (beneficial).
  • Proven organizational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of social media policies and experience communicating business messages across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Commitment to high customer service standards internally and externally.
