Job description

A leading independent school in the Upper Highway area is seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Marketing and Communication Manager to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This full-time role is perfect for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced educational environment and is passionate about storytelling, brand identity, and meaningful engagement with a broad community.

Your Impact Will Include:

-Protecting and enhancing the school’s brand identity across all channels.
-Managing a strategic content calendar across digital, print, and promotional platforms.
-Leading clear, timely crisis communications when necessary.
-Driving internal communications that foster alignment and clarity among staff.
-Designing and distributing newsletters, brochures, and branded materials that reflect the school's ethos.
-Keeping the school’s website and App up to date with current, relevant, and engaging content.
-Creating buzz around school events—from open days and parent evenings to sports and culture showcases.
-Staying ahead of marketing trends in the education space through competitor and market analysis.

What You’ll Bring:
- Recognised bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 4+ years’ experience in a marketing and communications role, ideally with leadership exposure
- Excellent command of digital marketing, social media, and content strategy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite & automation tools
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A professional, values-based approach aligned with a Christian ethos
- A strong sense of initiative, creativity, and people skills
- Valid Criminal & Sexual Offender’s Clearance
- Commitment to uphold the values and code of conduct expected in a school environment
