Role Purpose
As the Market and Strategy Analyst, you will play a key supporting role in shaping and tracking our long term strategic direction. Working closely with senior team members, you will contribute to market research, competitive analysis, business case development, and performance tracking aligned with the company’s 5-year strategic plan. This role is well suited to a curious and analytical professional with strong business acumen and a passion for turning data into insight to inform high-impact decisions.
Key Responsibilities
·Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that inform strategic planning.
·Support the development and refinement of corporate and business unit strategies by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
·Build and maintain data-driven analytical models and business cases to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and new market entry opportunities.
·Support preparation of strategy updates and presentations for Exco and Board-level audiences.
·Drive cross-functional strategic projects, tracking initiative progress and ensuring delivery of key milestones
·Monitor and track progress of key strategic initiatives, providing analytical support to assess performance against defined milestones.
·Develop dashboards and performance measurement tools to track KPIs and support performance management processes.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, conduct research, and ensure strategic recommendations are grounded in operational realities.
·Contribute to the continuous improvement of strategic planning processes, tools, and templates across the organization.
·Contribute to shaping and delivering the outcomes of the company’s 5-year plan by providing analytical and research support

Qualifications and Experience
·Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical field. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous but not required.
·3–5 years of experience in a corporate strategy team, management consulting, or a related strategic or analytical role.
·Demonstrated ability to support strategic planning processes, conduct market research, and develop business cases or strategic insights.
·Prior experience or strong interest in the ICT, telecommunications, or technology sector is strongly preferred.

Key Skills and Competencies
·Understanding of performance measurement principles and the application of KPI frameworks to track strategic outcomes.
·Proficient in using strategic analysis tools and frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces) to evaluate markets and inform decision-making.
·Exposure to organizational change initiatives and an understanding of the role of strategy in driving transformation.
·Familiarity with AI tools or data analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
·Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills including experience preparing presentations and reports for senior stakeholders.
·Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
