A leading motorcycle and marine company seeks a Marine Sales Executive to achieve sales targets and ensure dealer satisfaction in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the motorcycle or automotive sector, and will be responsible for maintaining relationships with dealers while managing all sales logistics.

A vacancy has arisen for a Marine Sales Executive reporting to the Motorcycle & Marine Sales Manager at Tuning Fork Pty Ltd t / a Linex Sandton.

Position Overview : Achieve the set-out strategy of your division whilst taking responsibility and accountability for your performance. Achieving sales and all related logistics regarding the division.

Job Description :

  1. Maintain a high level of feedback and interaction with Team Leaders, Sales Representatives, and General Managers with respect to dealer issues, problems, concerns, suggestions, etc.
  2. Maintain good relationships at all times with both internal departments and dealers to improve functional efficiency.
  3. Ensure that all matters within your sphere of responsibility and influence are accurate and exceed the expectations of all dealers with regard to response times, professional content, and commitments.
  4. Maintain Company Core Values at all times.
  5. Make sales calls and dealer visits in line with business objectives.
  6. Maintain product knowledge of current and new products.
  7. Respond to dealer requests for product information and pricing queries.

Minimum Experience :

  • At least 3 years in a sales role including a working knowledge of motorcycle products, accessories, and components, and/or previous experience in the automotive component sector.
  • Time management and effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Above average computer literacy on common commercial products.

Personal Attributes :

  • Enthusiasm for the product and ability to identify with it.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mature, responsible, and self-motivated individual.
