Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Vaal Triangle is seeking a Sales Representative with a strong marine background to source boats, build relationships with owners and buyers, and drive sales growth in the marine industry. You will travel as required to meet clients and close deals.

The role requires a solid understanding of boats, marine equipment, and boating lifestyle. Prior boat sales experience is highly advantageous and target-driven sales skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual or clear English communication is expected.
• Minimum 2 years' sales experience, especially marine-related.
• Marine industry experience is essential and boat sales experience is advantageous.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of boats, marine equipment and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell boats to prospective clients.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, digital platforms and events.
• Conduct needs analyses and recommend suitable vessels.
• Arrange viewings, demonstrations and sea trials where applicable.
• Negotiate sales agreements and close transactions.
• Identify and secure quality boats for resale and maintain relationships with owners.
