Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to oversee the operations on our production floor. The role is crucial for ensuring smooth biscuit production and maintaining high standards of machinery performance. The production process involves advanced machinery for mixing, dough forming, baking, cooling, and packaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in food production and experience with industrial machinery to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes for biscuit production.

• Monitor and maintain production machinery, including mixers, dough moulding machines, gas tunnel ovens, oil spray machines, cooling conveyors, and packaging equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with machinery to minimize downtime and prevent production delays.

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all production machinery, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to enhance the production process and troubleshoot any operational inefficiencies.

• Ensure that all machinery complies with food safety standards and operational regulations.

• Keep detailed records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and repairs.

• Provide training and support to other team members on machine operation and troubleshooting techniques.

• Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production output.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar role within a production environment.

• Familiarity with industrial food production machinery, including mixers, forming machines, ovens, and packaging lines.

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and technical components of production equipment.

• Strong understanding of food safety, manufacturing processes, and quality control.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Technical qualifications in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or related fields (preferred).
