Responsibilities

• Core focus would be 60% existing client maintenance & satisfaction and 40% on new business development.
• Source and secure new business through client visits and cold calling.
• Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Conduct presentations and promote new products and special offers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
• Advise clients on delivery timelines and after-sales service.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients via visits and calls.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry developments.
• Attend industry seminars, trade shows, and events to stay up to date.
• Achieve and report on monthly sales targets.
• Submit accurate orders and customer details to internal sales support.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) + a qualification in Sales or Marketing, Manufacturing (e.g. IMM Certificate) would be preferred.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role, for the manufacturing or wholesale sector
• Stable career history with proven track record of targets reached
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing and able to travel regularly
