Manufacturing Engineer in Training (Masters degree)

Our international client in the FMCG industry is looking for a dynamic and talented Engineer to be trained for a position based in Kempton Park.

- Advance your future success in end-to-end supply chain management by learning from industry experts in sustainability, procurement, quality, manufacturing, logistics, planning, and engineering. Over 18 months, you will gain practical experience and rotate through various Nutreco locations.
- Structured academy weeks, mentorship, and international exposure will help you develop skills necessary for future roles within our supply chain.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Must have a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering, with a genuine interest in end-to-end supply chain and production, along with analytical and problem-solving skills to succeed in a dynamic, international environment.
- Maximum of two years of professional experience in supply chain, business administration, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in business English and the local language.
- Must be fully internationally mobile and prepared for two global rotations. Candidates should hold permanent residency with a home country passport; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Enjoyment in mastering complex concepts and applying learnings practically to make an impact.
- Ability to approach challenges creatively and think outside the box to find optimal solutions.

Description of responsibilities
- First 6 months (Local): Gain on-the-job experience in core supply chain functions, learning key systems, processes, and business operations.
- Next 6 months (First International Rotation): Expand your skills by working in a different operational location, tackling real-world operational and strategic challenges.
- Final 6 months (Second International Rotation): Broaden your perspective through a global assignment, deepen your expertise, and contribute to high-impact projects.
- Academy Weeks: Participate in job-specific and personal development training, network with fellow trainees, and gain insights from senior leaders. Throughout the 18 months, engage in soft skills training focused on leadership, communication, and collaboration to support your growth in a global supply chain environment.
- Throughout all phases, you will work on challenging projects and operational tasks as part of the Supply Chain team, attending various training courses. This combination of projects, training, and international experience will equip you with excellent skills and a strong foundation for your career.
