Job summary

JVR Software is seeking a seasoned Cost Accountant to oversee the full cost accounting function within our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on product costing, inventory valuation and variance analysis to drive profitability.

You'll partner with Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, supporting budgeting, forecasting and FP&A with strong analytical rigor and business acumen. A CIMA or equivalent qualification is required and 7–10 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• CIMA or similar accounting qualification is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in cost accounting.
• Proven cost accounting experience within manufacturing is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full Cost Accounting function.
• Manage product costing, inventory valuation and manufacturing variances.
• Analyse costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and maintain product cost models.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain and other key teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Prepare management reports and provide insights on cost and operational performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across costing, reporting and financial processes.
• Support strategic financial analysis and cost-reduction initiatives.
