Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all plant costing activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain and analyse Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and costing models.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the plant.
• Monitor and report on Work-in-Progress (WIP), inventory, and manufacturing variances.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and plant performance reports.
• Provide meaningful cost analysis and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Partner with plant management and operational teams to support business objectives.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance and operational functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Finance, Accounting, or Commerce Degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Management Accounting.
• Proven experience within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of BOM management, budgeting, forecasting, and WIP analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships across finance and operations teams.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
