Western Cape – Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Regional Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

POSITION INFO: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High level of agricultural exposure: having a thorough understanding of agriculture is important to effectively guide and support the TSR and address customer inquiries professionally.
  • Perseverance: tendency to sustain interest and effort towards long-term goals is key to success in the RM position.
  • Energized by interacting with people: actively and enthusiastically engaging with the team and fieldwork are important for success in this role.
  • Leadership abilities:
    • Ability to effectively communicate the company's vision to the team
    • Ability to inspire and motivate others
    • Efficiently manage tasks, time, and resources to achieve objectives
    • Decision-making skills and ability to create and implement action plans when facing problems
  • Previous experience in a sales environment (Sales Acumen): understanding effective presentation, return on investment, negotiation skills, and after-sales services.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Managing P&L in your territory: ensuring potential analysis, segmentation, developing local plans, and monitoring activities to meet targets.
  • Leading and monitoring the sales team: recruiting, integrating, developing, and motivating a team of 10 TSRs.
  • Developing loyalty and expanding partnerships with agricultural distributors in line with the company's commercial policy.
  • Reporting: collecting, analyzing, and communicating performance data to guide strategic decisions.
